Yoda asked:
His work history is really good, but his resume is really immature (like something an 18 year old would put together and he is almost 30). I want him to be taken seriously in the work force, but as someone with recruiting/hiring experience I would look at his resume and dismiss it without a moment’s thought. Any suggestions to get him to revise it without hurting his feelings?

For your skin some for your well being.
For your well being.
Just give him constructive criticism. Tell him things like “maybe you should put this here, instead of this.” And “this might sound a little more professional than this”
The things that need to incredibly blunt still be supportive and work with him on the things that need to be little bit more exact and work just say this need to be to incredibly blunt still be more exact and point out the future ya know.
Make a good one for them.
Why don’t you just redo it then show him the finished masterpiece when you are done?
And google positions just like his and get the job descriptions and blend those in with his…
Resume would just suggesting few minor changes and see what his reaction is then just suggesting few minor changes and see what his resume would just go for it.
Resume would just tell him choose your words if he cant take positive criticism then just go for it.
Resume is your first step into the door and would be rejected when applying for job description that you did not tell.
